1. Tell us about yourself and why you wanted to join the Utica Children’s Museum team!

I’m passionate about supporting my community and love to lend a helping hand wherever I can. My journey began as a volunteer with the Utica Children's Mobile Museum, and I quickly discovered how enjoyable and rewarding it is! Watching kids embrace their creativity always brings a smile to my face. I can’t wait for all the kids in our community to fully experience the museum when it opens!

2. Everyone brings something special to the team! What unique qualities or experiences do you bring to the UCM team that will help bring great experiences to children and families?

My greatest strength is my warm heart, friendly demeanor and constant smile! I love seeing others enjoy themselves and take pride in my work, especially when it has a meaningful impact.

3. What exhibit are you most looking forward to seeing when we open in December?

The exhibit I'm most excited about is The Cove. This sensory-friendly area will be a space where visitors can unwind on bean bags, cozy up with a book in a cubby or engage in fun, physically stimulating activities like the marble wall and bubble tubes. It’s going to be a wonderful place for relaxation and exploration!

4. Why do you believe Children’s Museums are important to communities?

They promote knowledge and spark creativity for both kids and adults! Children's museums play a crucial role in facilitating learning through play, fostering family bonding and enhancing cultural awareness.

5. When you’re not entertaining kids with the Mobile Museum, what activities or hobbies do you do for FUN?!

You can always find me supporting a local event! I also enjoy going to the movies, hiking or trying out a new restaurant.

6. What was your favorite thing to do or play with as a kid?

As a child, my favorite pastime was pretending to be a teacher. When I was a child, I wanted to become a teacher or coach because I truly enjoy sharing knowledge with others.

7. Give us 3 random fun facts about yourself!

I'm optimistic. I love to travel. And, I used to compete in dance.
