1. Tell us about yourself and why you wanted to join the Utica Children’s Museum team!

I joined the UCM team to help kids of all ages come together to have a safe and nurturing environment to express themselves through play and engagement. I have always had a love for children and working with youth through different capacities. I have worked with children and families professionally for the past 9 years.   

2. Everyone brings something special to the team! What unique qualities or experiences do you bring to the UCM team that will help bring great experiences to children and families?

I believe that my history of working with children has given me a wide variety of skill sets including patience, understanding and a genuine care and concern for any client or child I may be working with.

3. What exhibit are you most looking forward to seeing when we open in December?

I think that The Cove is one of the exhibits I am looking forward to the most. I believe that everyone could benefit from taking a few minutes to rest and recharge. I think this is a great exhibit to offer at the UCM.

4. Why do you believe Children’s Museums are important to communities?

I believe that Children's Museums are important because they offer a unique way for children to learn and express themselves all while being supported by staff who also have a passion for connection and play.

5. When you’re not entertaining kids with the Mobile Museum, what activities or hobbies do you do for FUN?!

I enjoy playing volleyball, thrifting and like to go camping.

6. What was your favorite thing to do or play with as a kid?

I think I was your "typical little girl" growing up. I enjoyed playing with Barbies, playing with dolls and playing house or grocery store worker.

7. Give us 3 random fun facts about yourself!

I have pet goats. I've swam with sharks before. I've walked across the longest pedestrian suspension bridge in North America.
